Nearly Ninety Flights Linked to Jeffrey Epstein Allegedly Landed at or Took Off from British Airports
An investigation has found that nearly 90 aircraft journeys linked to Jeffrey Epstein reportedly arrived at and departed from British airfields, with some allegedly carrying British women who assert they were victimized by the convicted child sex offender.
Flight Logs Show Trail of Movement
The travel manifests were among thousands of legal papers and papers released by Epstein’s estate that have been disclosed over the last year. The review found 87 flights linked to Epstein – featuring many that were not previously known – landing or taking off from UK airports between the early 1990s and 2018.
Passenger Details and Post-Conviction Flights
Unnamed “females” were listed among the passengers flying to and from the UK. Significantly, 15 of these UK flights occurred subsequent to Epstein’s 2008 conviction for soliciting sex from a minor.
“It was ‘shocking’ that there had never been a ‘full-scale UK investigation’ into his operations in the country,” stated American attorneys representing numerous Epstein victims.
British Victims and Legal Proceedings
A statement from one of the British victims aided the conviction of Epstein’s accomplice socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking of minors in the US in 2021. However, that individual has not received any contact by UK authorities, according to her Florida-based lawyer.
In a statement, the Metropolitan police indicated they had “not received any further information that would support reopening the probe.” They noted, “If fresh and pertinent evidence be presented to us, including any arising from the disclosure of material in the US, we will evaluate it.”
Ongoing Disclosure and Judicial Decisions
A bill to release every document held by the American government in regarding Epstein passed the US Congress last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to comply. Hundreds of thousands of papers are projected to be made public.
Additionally, a federal judge ordered last week that the department could disclose investigative materials from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime confidante, who is serving a 20-year jail term over the charges.
