The UK airline will offer free high-speed onboard internet by way of Starlink agreement
Passengers on the airline will soon enjoy high-speed connectivity onboard without charge following a recent agreement involving SpaceX's communications company.
No-cost and High-speed Wifi for All
The carrier announced that this free, “quick and reliable” wifi service from Starlink becomes available to passengers in economy, business, and premium cabins as of soon.
Widespread Rollout Over Several Carriers
The holding company of BA, International Airlines Group, confirmed it had finalized an partnership with the satellite firm to provide internet services for over 500 aircraft operated by their carriers, such as the Irish airline, Iberia, plus the low-cost airline.
Seamless Wifi starting at Boarding to Arrival
BA noted that the introduction of this system was part of a seven billion pound “transformation” plan and would deliver lag-free internet service to passengers starting at boarding through landing, also when traveling above seas and far-off locations.
Passengers may link multiple devices and won't need to have to use a unique password.

Present Internet Offerings
Basic wifi access is currently available for BA passengers through nearly all of the airline's planes using the .air service.
